AUDIO


1. Computers Speaker or Multimedia Speakers - are speakers external to a computer, that disable the lower                                                                            fidelity built-in speaker.

2. Headset - a pair of earphones typically joined by a band placed over the head, for listening to audio                               signals such as music or speech.

3. Radio - the transmission or reception of electromagnetic waves of radio frequency, especially those                           carrying sound messages.  

VISUAL

1. Spotlight - a lamp projecting a narrow, intense beam of light directly onto a place or person, especially a                        performer on stage.

2. LCD computer - a flat panel screen that uses the liquid crystal display (LCD) technology and connects to                               a computer.

3. Projector -  a device that projects computer output onto a white or silver fabric screen that is wall, ceiling                       or tripod mounted.

Uses of Technology in Educational Technology

           Computer is one of the technologies that were made for us to make our life easier. Computer can use by everybody; it will not function if there is no user or manager. Computer helps us to store, accept and manipulate as well as process data. Though there are a lot of technologies like cellphone, laptop, microphones etc. This computer helps us a lot, like when we have an assignment, we can use download or upload, for us to have copy.

           There are three major components of computer system. First is the people ware or what we called the manager, operator and user because as I said, computer won’t function without a manager or operator. The second one is the software and it has types; the system software and the application software. The last one is the hardware; it refers to the physical equipment like the system unit, input devices, storage device and output device.

Educational Technology II

            In Educational Technology 1, I learned a lot about technology on how does technology helps us in everyday life, their different uses, the things that we can do in computer technology as a future teacher. As a future educators someday, it will be easier for us to teach because there is a Microsoft PowerPoint. We can use this instead of making visual aids and you will not spend lot of moneys.  It will be more attractive to the students and it can get their attentions, they will not be bored especially when you add some animations. You can make your evaluations as well with the help of computer. Lesson plan is very important to a teacher because this serves us the objectives. Using Microsoft Word, you can make lesson plan on it, and it’s easier than writing.


            There are a lot of things that I've learned in Educational Technology 1, I learned not only the uses of Microsoft Office but I also learn how to create a yahoo account, a G mail account. It is very important because you can save whatever you wanted to save and send also a letter to a person you wanted to receive your message by just attaching the information or message you wanted to send.  I also learned how to edit a picture and make it more reliable. Example is that, make yourself be the number one topic in the magazines or whatsoever you wanted your picture want to be.
